What is Homebase?
Homebase is a Tezos-based token-weighted voting application that is used to vote on Tezos-based DAOs.
Tezos Domains uses Homebase for accepted proposal voting.
How to use Homebase?
Using Homebase for Proposals and Voting is simple.
You need to connect your Tezos Wallet of choice via the ‘Connect Wallet’ button as seen at the top right of the page
Once connected, you will be able to vote or propose for voting. Please see the sub-sections below on how to do this.
Voting Process
To vote on a proposal, the proposal needs to be active and you would need to click on the proposal.
Once you have landed on the page with the proposal information, at the bottom you will see a button to cast vote. You would need to hold TEDv to cast votes. Once you click on the button to vote, you would need to select which option from the given options & sign the vote in your Tezos Wallet.
Wallet interaction should pop up like so:
Once signed, the vote would be registered to whichever selected vote you have chosen and will be displayed below, as seen below:
Proposal Process
To propose a proposal for voting, it would need to pass all criteria given. You will need to click the button ‘create proposal.’
Why does $TED use Homebase?
At the moment, Homebase is the only Tezos-based DAO tokenized-voting system in place, so all activities for DAO voting are on Homebase and will be for the foreseeable future.
